Before a student can be enrolled into Plato-Credit Recovery they must complete the following steps.

  1. Come to class the first day that the counselor assigns you to class. Absences start on that day.
  2. Fill out the top section of the Plato contract on a computer. (see Mr. Silvey for instructions)
  3. Take the Plato contract to their counselor to have class information filled out.
  4. Take the Plato contract home to have a patent or guardian read and sign.
  5. Bring back completed and signed Plato contract to Mr. Silvey the next day.
  6. After completed Plato contract is returned Mr. Silvey with activate your Plato Account.

Plato Credit Recovery Class rules

  1. All students must remain on the Plato program at all time. Permission must be given to go to any othe web sites. Failure to remain on the Plato site will result in remove from class for that day and an absence awarded.
  2. No Cell phone visiable or audible.
  3. No Food or Drink in the computer labs.
  4. No Music Players of any kind.
  5. All class notes must be handwritten on paper, no word processing of and kind. All handwritten notes may be used on the tests.
  6. Ten absences will result in removal from class. Wait listed students will replace removed students
  7. Three tardies equal one absences.

How to sign into the Plato program

  1. Use your school login to to login into the computer
  2. Go to student apps and click on Plato
  3. If the program prompts you for an account number use 1002
  4. Use your student number for the Plato Name
  5. Use SHS(grad year) for your Group Name. Example SHS2010, SHS2011, SHS2012
  6. Use your student number for your password.
